No. Society will never ever overcome racism. The best we can hope for is teaching tolerance, and even that won't be easy. It's hard to teach people to tolerate stuff they hate, because *everyone* has a sense of entitlement. People are arrogant and hateful, and until the human race dies out, they will always be that way.
Pessimistic? Yes, but I still happen to think its true. =/
