So! I've decided....

That I am going to do the National Body Challenge. I signed up last night, so today is my first day doing a meal plan, and doing the recomended exercises.
My breakfast:
1 orange, milk, cinnamon peanutbutter english muffin.
It's tasty! Except for the milk, but Ill drink it anyway. You can tweak the food they recommend to you, and choose what kinda diet you want to do...its really cool.
Anyway, I decided to do this because A) I'm tired of my boobs trying to strangle me. B) I'd like to have more energy. C) I am at risk for diabetes. I'd rather not have to deal with that, thanks! lol.
So yes, an 8 week challenge, and by the end of it, I hope to be about 15 to 20 lbs lighter. ^_^

Date: 2009-01-04 04:28 am (UTC)The only real problem I can see is the cost in food. Some things are just way expensive for us right now (i.e-- fresh fruit) So I'm trying to get a general idea of tasty, filling, and healthy things we can get that won't break our grocery budget.
The only thing that annoys me is that they completely eliminate all red meat. I know its a health risk and all, but a little every once in a while won't kill you! Plus, I LIKE steak, lol.
Also, as someone who detests sea food and cannot swallow and keep it down, that pretty much narrows down my meat choice to poultry, or going vegetarian.
Whats really going to be hard is the fact that I'm doing this in a household that I am not the head of. Justin is pretty happy to eat what I eat, but Jeri and Jeff won't be so accomodating...
